Why can I not connect to the internet?
This could be a few things. Things to check are:
make sure all the cables/power cords are connected properly as well
as check to see if antenna is still standing. If all that is
correct usually all it takes to fix this is a simple unplug and
replug of the power adaptor of your router followed by a computer
restart. If the problem still exists then call one of our
technicians at 748-4812 (Local) or 1-866-887-3669 (Toll Free)
Why can't I connect to my email?
Make sure that your POP3 and SMTP servers are set
correctly. See the Outlook Express guide for the correct way
of setting them up. As well make sure your username and
password are in lowercase.
When I send out an e-mail I get a return message
saying that the e-mail is "undeliverable - user unknown". What
could be causing this?
Typing in a wrong or misspelled e-mail address can
cause this. Check the e-mail address for misspelled names
including punctuation. The other possibility is that the
e-mail address does not exist on the receiving server.
My internet has been really slow lately.
What could it be?
Chances are you have a virus, Trojan, or SpyWare
that is sending out information from your computer and therefore
slowing down your connection. To fix this problem scan your
computer for viruses with any antivirus software and also install
and run Ad-aware as well as Spybot Search & Destroy. (See our guides
page for these programs)
How come my computer always asks to establish a
dial-up connection?
This is displayed if you previously had a Dial-up
connection to the internet. To get rid of this open Internet
Explorer and go to the tools menu and select Internet options.
Then click on the Connections tab and check "Never dial a
connection" and click apply.
